Summer Teams

Teams are sent to assist at a local orphanage and an organization targeting at-risk children in the slums. 


Joyce Inouye (ChildD in Japan) - Joyce has been ministering to Japan to give presentations and seminars for organizations, international schools, conventions, retreats and churches. Each trip, God continues to expand the territories for ChildD with more venues to present. She has traveled in November 2012 to Tokyo, Hakkuba, Higashikurume and Ome; March 2013 to Nikko, Tokyo, Sendai, Higashikurure and Ome; and November 2013 traveled to Tokyo, Shinjuku, Azumino City, Hakkuba, Sendai, Mt. Fuji Hakone and Ishinomaki through the ChildD Ministry. In March 2014, Joyce took appointments through the Japanese Evangelical Missions Association/Women in Ministry Retreat in Nikko, and ministered in Sendai, training at the local international school, networking and taking appointments. Read more about the ministry of ChildD here.


Ian Nagata - Ian Nagata has completed language school and has begun working in Japan as his next ministry assignment to understand the life of an everyday person. Follow his blog.

Elliott and Lori Snuggs - Elliott and Lori are career missionaries with Asian Access working to identify, develop, release leaders who will in turn multiply leaders and churches throughout Asia.

Sabrina Yee - Sabrina was born and raised here at Evergreen SGV, and is heading to Tokyo, Japan for a four-year mission through SIM & Asian Access in September 2016. She is excited to learn all that she can about the people and nation of Japan, starting with the language.
