CL Mission

The purpose of Congregational Life Ministries:

        To make disciples who make disciples.

All Christians are called to be followers of Jesus. Our ministries are designed to equip and encourage these followers as they grow in their relationship with Christ. Our desire is to help others gain knowledge of the Savior that would ultimately propel them into a life of worship and obedience toward the one who saved them.

By God’s grace, we desire to become a Spirit-led community of disciples who are more like Jesus as we:

If we are faithful in the purpose of this ministry, then we believe God will form a unified network of small groups that embody the presence and character of Christ. This is accomplished by a Spirit-led process of transformation that leads people to love, learn and live all to the glory of God.

CL Values

These are biblical truths about spiritual growth that guide the way we do ministry.

Grace: We are saved by God’s grace, not by how much we grow.
(Rom. 3:24; Eph. 2:8-9)

Relationships: Spiritual growth happens in a personal relationship with Jesus and is nurtured in relationships with others.
(Mt. 11:28-30; Php. 2:12-13)

Obedience: All Christians are called to follow and obey Jesus and to make new disciples.
(Mk. 1:15-18; Lk. 9:23; Mt. 5:13-16; 28:20)

Word of God: God guides and transforms us through prayer and His Word.
(Col. 1:9-12; 2 Cor. 13:9; 1 Thess. 5:16-18; Psa. 119:9-11; 2 Tim. 3:16)

Trust: We trust that the Holy Spirit will grow us in His own way and timing.
(Php. 1:6; 1 Cor. 3:7)

Holistic process: True transformation is a life-long process involving the whole person.
