Los Alamitos Branch

The Los Alamitos branch is for men and women, married or single.  Men and women meet on separate nights so that childcare is not an issue.  Both gender groups enjoy fellowshipping while participating in a variety of activities.  We have meetings with adults and children about once a quarter. In the past, we have also had overnight camping trips, beach parties, barbecues, etc.    

The six men study the Bible to grow in our relationship and obedience to God in a supportive environment so that we can love God, love others, and make a difference.  All of the men attended the latest Mens retreat.  Three of the men have been or are going to serve on the Katrina Gulf Coast Relief Team. 

The five women meet at a home of one of our members to maximize participation.  We seek to help each other deepen our relationships with Christ and reflect Him in each of our lives. 

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.  (Hebrews 10:24-25)
