Join us for a couple of days in the beautiful mountain town of Mammoth Lakes in the High Sierra Nevada Mountains. If sightseeing, shopping, eating, and fishing in beautiful surroundings interest you then this is the trip for you.

Mammoth Lakes sits at an elevation of 7,800’ in the Eastern Sierras. It is about 325 miles from Los Angeles along highway 395. The drive takes roughly 5½ hours. With a population of over 7,000 people, it is a vibrant, exciting city with many shops, restaurants, and hotels. Even if you don’t fish it is a beautiful place to visit. If you like to fish then you’ll be in heaven. There are a number of lakes and streams literally within a 10-minute drive from downtown Mammoth. We will be fishing for rainbow and brown trout.

If you don’t want to fish or get tired of fishing, (is this possible?), you can go hiking, biking, golfing, shopping, rock climbing, horseback riding, play tennis, sightseeing, etc. There is no shortage of things to do.

A plan is to leave the Los Angeles area after work on Friday and arrive in Mammoth to check-into your hotel or condo at around 11 p.m. We will fish local lakes and/or rivers all day Saturday and half-day on Sunday before starting the drive home.

For the past years, we have stayed in local condos booked around the Mammoth area. We will be providing breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. The Lord has always provided wonderful fun and fellowship. Depending on the number of people the cost should be around $65/person total. It’s a hard deal to beat.

If you are interested in signing up for this fishing experience and/or have any questions please contact Daryl Chan or call 626-437-1261.
