“ForHe says, ‘Order on order, order on order, line on line, line on line, a little here, a little there.’” Isaiah 28:10
God is speaking to us through the prophet Isaiah. He is informing us to take the Word of God in context, building one precept upon another. In doing so, we receive and learn and then apply a little at a time.
Over the past ten weeks, I have shared ten ways of ‘not provoking our children’. It is a lot to absorb and apply. Where does one begin?
Start “a little here, a little there”. If you try to do everything all at once, you will probably provoke your children to anger as well as exasperate yourself in the process.
You could try to identify the one area where you are having the most challenging time. Begin by focusing on improving that one area before going on to the next. Ask the Lord to help you grow in that area.
Take one little step at a time and you will eventually get where you need to be.
Something to think about…
