Pastor Mako Seto

Mako serves as the Pastor of Administration and Youth Ministry.  Though he did not grow up in a Christian household, he eventually came to hear the gospel and by the grace of God became a follower of Jesus Christ in 2012. Mako graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona from The Collins College of Hospitality Management and is a current student at Talbot School of Theology.

Mako has been in full-time ministry since 2014, and joined Evergreen Church's pastoral staff in 2020. Prior to serve in ministry, he worked in hotel management for over 10 years. Working for companies such as The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Kintetsu, and Omni Hotels & Resorts, he has lived in various locations, including Palm Desert and Hawaii.

Mako and his wife Amy, reside in Montebello with their son Jordan.  Mako enjoys spending time with his family and friends, rolling in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and eating sushi with natto.
