Old Testament Fly-Thru
Do you find it difficult to spend much time reading the Old testament, because it seems too intimidating or boring or hard to understand? If so, then consider setting aside the morning of May 31 to participate in an Old Testament Fly-Thru. This workshop will help you learn the books of the Old Testament in order, along with a keyword to summarize the content of each book. You will get a bird’s-eye view of the geography chronology of characters and events in Israel’s history. You will walk away with some tools to expand your understanding and increase your desire to drink deeply from this wonderful portion of God’s Word. Older children and adults of all ages are welcome! Come as a family and learn together! Contact Pastor Dan at pdan@evergreensgv.org for more info.

Here at Evergreen, our aim is to be a “COME-KNOW & GROW-GO” church family. We desire to encourage those who are seeking a relationship with God to “come” and meet the Savior, Christ Jesus. We are dedicated to being a church where His followers can “know” through prayer and “grow” into spiritual maturity. And we are also committed to “go” and do the work of Christ in the world.

Evergreen SGV’s Mission Statement
: To make and grow disciples of those who closely identify with the English speaking Asian American culture so that people everywhere can come to know Jesus Christ.

Evergreen SGV’s Vision for the Future: A worshipping community of faith that is sowing, growing and going as God sows seeds of faith in seekers, grows disciples in Christ’s likeness and empowers them to go and minister by His Holy Spirit.
