Why should I join an ACE class?

ACE classes provide a place for us to grow in our knowledge of God. No one has exhausted the need for growth in mind and heart. No one has mastered or understood all of God’s ways. Those who climb the first hill of the knowledge and beauty of God find a mountain range beyond it, filled with discoveries they never could have imagined. Hebrews 6:1 says "let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity". Because of this we place ourselves before God, in the midst of the community of faith, as learners pursuing maturity together.

When do classes meet?

ACE classes meet on Sunday mornings before our worship service. Classroom doors open at 8:45am and instruction begins at 9:00am and ends at 10:00am.

Do classes meet every week?

We are on a 13-week quarter system with the following dates for the 2022-2023 year:

• Winter: January 8 - April 2, 2023

• Spring: April 16 - July 9, 2023

• Summer Break: July 16 - September 10, 2023 (No Classes)

• Fall: September 17 - December 10, 2023

Do I need to register for classes?

We are requiring registration because our classes have filled up in the past and we need to prepare our rooms and course material in advance. Registration will open in the months preceding the upcoming quarter and will be made available on the website and through the weekly Plugin. Only selected classes will be available for walk-ins once registration has closed.

Is there a cost for classes?

Classes are free to register and attend! You may need to purchase a book or materials if they are going to be used for your particular class.

Will classes be repeated?

Yes. We plan to repeat most if not all of our classes on a regular basis, in order to give everyone a chance to benefit from the variety of offerings.
